    Pros

The co-workers I met, The trainers, and my Supervisor, he was GREAT!

    Cons

Downsized, the huge lay-off(after i left) How the company got sold to Tracfone, and told the laid -off employees they would have a job, but lied. The pay was truly crappy, the constant drama, policy changes, sucky raises. Managemet lied about re-hiring former employees, before lay-off.

    Advice to Management

    the company is a joke

I worked at Page Plus Cellular full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Guaranteed hours, the heat and air conditioning worked. Lots of great co-workers.

    Cons

Not enough vacation time, terrible raise structure and too few positions above grunt. Too many cliques that resulted in favoritism and leg ups for promotions. The rules were enforced on those not favorable in the eyes of management while others who were in good standing received blind eye treatment. Too many people trying to get one another in trouble instead of just following the rules. Rules were made up for convenience and the hilarious "Employee Manual" had so many vague entries it read like a choose your own adventure. Benefits were too expensive. 5 minute breaks. FIVE. If you had to poop you had to steal some from your 30 minute lunch. NOT ENOUGH PARKING for some shifts. Weekends were almost always expected no matter how many years you put in. Unless you were in upper management. Now for the negative stuff LOLZ! The company knew that the new owners were not renewing the contract. They managed to wait until the legally allowable moment to make an announcement. Legal yes. Ethical however?

    Advice to Management

Since the fat lady has sung take this one lesson with you. Nobody is perfect. Leadership is about praising achievements as much as highlighting failures. That builds a strong team. Otherwise, wherever you go, the same habits follow.
