      Rewarding Working with a couple of people who genuinely care about the animals Good for gaining work experience in an animal shelter

      Unprofessional leadership that is more focused on company image than actually supporting their staff Unorganized Immature and toxic coworkers Favoritism High turnover rate Unequal pay Management always talks about company values but doesn’t live up to them

      Decent benefits. Animals Volunteers Sometimes fun

      Cons

      Unequal pay between both locations. Favoritism amongst managers Inability to move up Poor management Poor culture Dishonesty You will not be able to move up the ladder unless you're personal friends with upper management. Toxic people continue to work while good people leave or are pushed out or let go.
