You are required to pay (in full) for their Piedmont uniform.
This company offers no communication whatsoever about advancement opportunities for open positions within the company. I did an excellent job for this company and was on time and professional each and every day and twice have individuals come visit me claiming to be my supervisor. When I asked them how long they had been employed with Piedmont I was told in some cases two weeks and one month in the other case. Why were these positions not made public to the staff? I made three efforts to discuss this issue with my direct superior and three times was completely ignored even failed to show up for a promised meeting so that I could discuss my concerns. No reason why just never showed.
It has been my observation with this company that they tend to hire warm bodies put uniforms on those bodies and place them. When I was in class, one of my fellow officers fell asleep numerous times with his head on the desk. The instructor did absolutely nothing, and that person was subsequently assigned to one of the locations where I worked. Visual fell asleep on the job and was ultimately terminated. Why was this person placed in the position in the first place with this company. This company needs to do a very serious internal look at themselves if they are going to survive in the security industry number one treat your people right number to communicateh with your team and number three make your team feel appreciated .
