I have been working at Pipedrive full-time
Pros
They constantly ask how happy we are, what they can do to make our experience here a good one. There are a lot of internal promotions. You get a chance to try new things.
Cons
Overall it's a great place to work. Growing very fast, which can be a bit chaotic.
Advice to Management
Doing great.

I worked at Pipedrive full-time
Pros
- Brand has a positive reputation in the SaaS Sales Industry
- Customers really seem to love the tool, especially mobile app
- Your peers will generally be good people. Everyone is friendly, smart and usually working on some type of entrepreneurial side project.
- Opportunities to travel abroad and work with an international team.
- After Pipedrive, you'll know the tech space pretty well, so it's a solid stepping stone opportunity. Wouldn't bank on a long term engagement here though.
Cons
Where to begin...
- #EstonianMafia - That should say it all. If you're not an Estonian male, you'll never have a real shot at getting recognized for your talent and results, no matter how good you are at your job.
- Salaries here are low compared to other positions at tech companies. And forget about raises and bonuses.
- Incredible display of nepotism in senior leadership. One manager in particular imposed unthinkable havoc on the entire company culture, and ruined the experience of several employees, some of which who were wrongfully fired and some of which who quit on their own.
- They are trying to make up for it now by hiring many super senior leaders from huge corporate backgrounds. Still no clarity on who is the actual CEO, as they've had two "Co-CEO's" for awhile.
- I'd be worried if I were an employee at the New York office. The company is making every possible move to shy away from that group, as many operations are being moved to London and Portugal. I think it's fair to say that the New York office wouldn't even be there if they weren't trying to create a facade of being a "global" brand.
- Management overall does a good job with making you think you have a real say in what happens. The reality is... you don't. If you're not a close friend or relative of the founders, you'll never see the light of day.
- That
Advice to Management
- Break the nepotism.
- Don't put off problems just because they're hard to deal with. Take on challenges head on and early, so you can reduce the impact of a potential wildfire before it spreads.
- Humble yourselves. Just because you're a "manager" doesn't mean you're always right.
- Listen to the experts. There are specialized roles in the company who are experts at what they do. You should listen to these people. Most managers in the company are not experts, just good with politics and project management.

I have been working at Pipedrive full-time
Pros
Many nice people within the company
Some opportunity for mobility in Estonia.
Good stepping stone to other tech jobs.
Nice perks and workplace design in Estonia.
Cons
Take the positive reviews here with a grain of salt. Most reviews here (if not all) were left upon request from HR and during better times. I mean who really goes out of their way to leave positive reviews?
There are few inspiring leaders within the company. There are now two CEOs because the former CEO left neither of which can fill the original CEO's shoes.
There is nepotism at the highest ranks of the company, allowing a serial underperformer to main a key leadership position. The person is an incredibly bad manager and fosters toxic culture leading to poor business results.
There are large pockets of toxic and depressed culture, most notably the marketing department.
There was lots of high-profile executive turnover in 2016.
On the U.S. side of operation, employee perks are not that good compared to other growing companies in New York. It's disenchanting to hear the U.S based CEO complain about the cost stocking the kitchen or group outings.
Most opportunity for mobility is in Estonia. Very few promotions happen on the U.S. side of business. There is no formal talent development program.
Advice to Management
Listen to the line employees.
Stop taking so long to make critical decisions.
Get rid of sources of toxic culture.
Get a leadership infusion stat.

I have been working at Pipedrive full-time
Pros
The commitment to creating a supportive work culture
The straight forward nature of Estonian
Openness to new ideas
Cons
Estonia is +7 hours ahead of the NYC office which make the windows for communication small.
Advice to Management
Stay aware as to when we've outgrown the initial ideas and its time to explore new opportunities for growth

I worked at Pipedrive full-time (More than a year)
Pros
A good product and some really great team members
Cons
Founders recently parted ways with the CEO due to not wanting to invest in sales & marketing. They have also shown little to no interest in investing in the US team. Recently they displayed very questionable morals and ethics when they let multiple people go days/hours before their stock would have vested. I would stay away from any new roles where they are asking you to build out a new function for them. Risk would be they will let you go once you do the work and they feel they can maintain it on their own.
Advice to Management
Try to be an example of the values you have stated.

Product is fantastic, people are even better! The culture in NYC and Estonia are unmatched. Best company I've ever worked for!

None. There is honestly nothing about this company where I would want to change. The environment is great along with the people.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you're doing

Cool place with big vision as they tackle SMB market. Just breaking into the NYC market and there will be room for growth as the team builds from a very small team to a larger one.

I have been working at Pipedrive full-time (More than a year)
Pros
Really cool environment built: friendly, high skilled and experienced people surround You all the time.
Easy to grow: a lot of technologies in use, some of them on the edge
Interesting and challenging tasks and all these tribes-and-missions rings and bells
Hey, we even have a massage chair in Tallinn office!
Cons
Average developers don't influence the product with their ideas as it described, decisions come from tops
People worked there for years still leave company, You have to pay more even offering this really cool environment
Advice to Management
Keep rocking
