You get to work with smart people, which is a great bonus. Overall a bunch of good people around you with an young and informal working culture at the company.

    Pros

Great team culture, management very down to earth, projects are generally interesting

I worked at Portland Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

None - high burn out rate; horrible management (think they own you) poor salary; "low-cost culture", they're a tin pot, moms and pops shop who hire socially inexperienced bookish staff.

    Cons

no integrity, long hours, bad pay, boring work, anxious work environment. Hats off to Solsky! He cashed out big time!!!
basically useless on a cv, who's heard of them. At least at serious consultancies, you get a good name on your CV.

    Advice to Management
