Opportunity to learn as you work. (Most) managers allow you to work independently without micromanaging.

    Cons

I have been working at PrimeLending full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Slow paced environment. Easy to consult outside department managers about issues. On boarding process was extremely easy upon arrival. Smooth transition when they off-board an individual, and done without HR involvement

    Cons

Employees run the workflow. If decisions need to be made promptly, it requires numerous hurtles, meetings requiring involvement from every person involved. They have a complete top down approach to the simplest request, rather than allowing a mgr-to-mgr work flow. Inter-home office departments fail to work together, thus causing the end-user, business customer to suffer. These are the money makers suffering and losing time and revenue

    Advice to Management

Employees not forced to be accountable for their work. And when a manager tries to hold them accountable, they're allowed to promptly go to HR to register a complaint. Plus there's no support from AVP or VP level.

    Pros

Nice office building with a good atmosphere.

    Cons

    No development opportunities offered.
Downsizing is a real threat in the housing market. Coworkers were fired with little explanation after meeting expectations and goals. Some chose to leave for career growth.
