It's all at a computer and remote, so if that's not your thing, it may be a tough sell for you.

Thank you for this review!
We've committed a lot of time and attention to making sure each person on our team is given above-average compensation benefits. Very glad to hear that the positive and collaborative environment has been a great place for you to grow!
As a member of a small, remote team, I have the opportunity to take on different roles and responsibilities, which helps me develop autonomy in my work quickly. We have only a few scheduled meetings, and most communication happens asynchronously, allowing me to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The meetings that are scheduled are well-organized in advance and are highly structured, with clear objectives and discussion points. This avoids any afterthoughts such as "that should have been an email." The team encourages new ideas and welcomes questions about the status quo. There is no "we've always done it this way" mentality here. Team members are experts in their areas, but they are scrappy enough to learn a new skill whenever needed. We are not micromanaged, and the team is always available to support me when I need it.
Cons
Effective communication and time management are key in this asynchronous work environment. If self-advocacy is not your strength, this will not be a good match. We value honesty and transparency, so you must be comfortable discussing your workload, deadlines, and abilities with your manager and team members.

Thank you for this review!
Open communication and self-advocacy as a professional are prerequisites to thrive here and we're so grateful you pointed this out for our future team members.
- Tons of opportunities to make an impact, learn new skills, and lead big projects or process changes; - Nice people and really strong core values that are tangible and practiced (not just lip service); - Tons of autonomy around your work; - Lots of opportunities to give and receive feedback and ideas (plus this feedback usually results in action pretty quickly); - Flexible remote schedule and very few meetings; - Good benefits including a new annual team retreat which is super fun
Cons
- Not a great place if you prefer to do the same thing every day, everyone tends to wear multiple hats; - Small remote team with not a lot of meetings, so not a great place if you prefer a more "hands-on" manager like you'd have in an in-person workplace; - Remote work can sometimes feel disconnected

Thank you for this review! We appreciate you pointing out the autonomy that comes with this role.
Here are some updates that have happened since this review, for your peace of mind:
- We've added more buffer into project planning (and have new policies to enforce this!)
- We've rolled out a virtual office and doubled-down on our in-person team annual retreat to help the remote work feel more connected
- We've continued our commitment to adding one new employee benefit each year. Next up: housecleaning stipends!
Calling out that this is a place with a lot of autonomy
