Pros
High levels of autonomy, a highly collaborative team assembled through a hiring practice of hiring top performers and SMEs in the industry verticle, Peer-to-peer mentorship and hands-on teamwork with a value structure rooted in comradery and building meaningful relationships internally and externally, unparalleled comp structure, remote and highly flexible work schedule with limitless time off, family-focused allowing work-life integration, and highly experienced and accomplished leadership which gets their hands as dirty and focused on supporting the team with what's needed to succeed. PPG just "gets it" when it comes down to treating both their internal associates, stakeholders, and clients with dignity, respect, and gratitude and is an example of servant leadership done right from the narrow gap between top and bottom and side to side. My passion for the work I've grown into a career I love has been refueled since joining and until recently, I may have forgotten just how it feels to be truly valued within the organization when transparency, openness, and the focus are on being successful for the sake of others no matter if those are internal team members or clients.
Cons
Still small and nimble, in scaling phase past bootstrapping start-up and therefore some of the resources you may otherwise have with larger and earlier established organizations may offer, but at the trade-off of adding unnecessary process, red tape, stratified hierarchy, and organizational bureaucracy/internal politicking, which I believe is a hair away from nonexistent at PPG currently.
