Pros

I have had the pleasure of teaching at Purple Ruler for the past 4 months, from my personal experience, I have had the support of management and any concerns I had were addressed promptly. I really enjoy teaching at Purple Ruler!

Cons

Sometimes maintaining a work life balance can be difficult.

Pros

Sadly cannot give a single pro

Cons

I was appalled at my experience of this company. I turned down roles as they highlighted it would likely be a full-time position. I spent a month training for them & then they gave me 2 shifts a week. They gave absolutely no feedback about how to improve the classes for future classes. Additionally, they will ask you 15 minutes before the class if you could start 20 minutes later and then end the last 20 minutes later (no change in pay). Most disappointing they just felt extremely unsupportive. You have to put all of you concerns in the chat with every other member of the board as well so you can't voice concerns without it being seen by everyone. I have never left a Glassdoor review before because I've had so many great experiences with teaching, but I feel as though people should be aware of how unethical this company is.

Pros

Not an actual employee just went through the training process following being accepted from the interviews. Training process was thorough and intuitive.

Cons

On the final stage which was a one to one mock lesson I received positive feedback from the examiner but then was rejected from the company and locked out of my lark account without being told why I had failed (which was apparently very rare). When I emailed a number of times requesting feedback on why I had failed I never received a response. Coming from an education company- you would expect feedback to help people improve would be basic curtesy. The training process took about 10 days to complete, if passed you get compensated for this time. As I failed at the final stage having completing all the other stages and was locked out afterwards from my account I never received anything for this work and time. Left me confused and frustrated.
