      Pros

      Companywide commitment to customer service and ethical business practices. Friendly, dedicated, hardworking colleagues. Senior staff possesses extensive industry experience/knowledge. Good compensation by Rhode Island standards, including an employer-paid Employee Stock Option Program (ESOP) and, for some positions, incentive pay.

      Cons

      The headquarters and certain business processes are not as modernized as you might expect. Employee onboarding and orientation could be more robust -- sometimes you are left to your own devices to figure out how things work.

      Stable company for energy engineering types, diverse utility programs available to assist clients with rebates to improve ROI on projects

      Cons

      Managers micromanaged to a degree, top leadership somewhat out of the loop in terms of HR knowledge required to retain good employees!

      Great benefits and competitive wages. This company is owned by its employees through an ESOP Trust. Vested in 6 years.

      Cons

      Sink or swim when onboarding. Seems most higher level employees are hired from outside the organization. Employees stay in same position for decades with no opportunity for advancement.
