Pros

- Young working environment (majority aged 20-30) - Self-motivated-by-cash people - Does both temporary and permanent positions - Great training ground for new grads (360 recruitment experience, from sourcing to interview to offer to closing and after-sales upkeep, cold-calling clients) - Transparent 50/50 split between account holder and candidate holder

Cons

- Poor people & culture management (very MLM, reward with good meals, focus on looks, guilt and shame, encourage materialism, not a very healthy environment) - Focus on specialisation (pro for the business, but con for the consultant as you are not allowed to own clients from other industry, which could hold you back from consistent sales) - Half day Saturdays (not required if you are top sales) - Non-transparency in client account management (your manager is the one deciding who owns which clients, a method bound to favouritism) - Non-transparency in client account management (your manager decides who owns which clients, a method bound to favouritism) - Compulsory pay-cut system if fail to meet target (most people do not, only team leads/managers/those with existing clients meet target consistently), hence effort does not equal to pay (as there are conditions you cannot control, eg. candidates back out of a job and all efforts )
