Pros

-Medical/Dental Benefits -Snacks, Coffee, Drinks in break room -Monthly company happy hour

Cons

Management isn’t very good, very unprofessional. Do not argue with any form of management the wrong way or you’ll lose your job. I suggest to not talk to HR about anything. The pre-analytical department is a joke. The pay is not worth it, especially with all the demands & expectations you’ll have as an individual, it’s unrealistic & the pre-analytical (accessioning, troubleshooting, biobanking) team isn’t established like the other lab departments, you’ll be attempting to develop a department with no assistance because the company solely wants to do everything in-house to save money & expect management to shoot down all of your attempts to make the process easier/better. Bottom line, no matter how much you do in your position you will never be appreciated & everything you do will never be enough. By far, this is my 3rd or 4th clinical laboratory job & I have never been treated like complete trash & experienced this much unappreciation. Don’t work here or at least... don’t work for accessioning.

Awful company

Pros

They used to have great health insurance and pay your premiums.

Cons

This place is so toxic and dysfunctional it’s mind-blowing! The CEO, Mark Li has no clue to run a company. People burn out due to the absurd expectations put on them. The CEO perpetuates a culture of favoritism, intimidation, and passive aggressive managing. Their turnover rate is beyond a joke! It you care about your sanity and having some semblance of work-life balance, avoid this place at all costs.

Narcissistic & self absorbed leadership

Pros

Nothing outweighs all of the cons, stay far away

Cons

Treats employees horribly, especially entry level which leads to high turnover Narcissistic management and higher ups So insanely disorganized, it’s amazing that anything gets done here Departments shift blame to each other constantly Incompetent leadership that play favorites Highly advise anyone to avoid this place, it’s painfully mediocre. Most of the positive reviews here are from management or advanced level positions, which should be a huge red flag to anyone.
