I have been working at Resolution full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They have some great clients and the work is very engaging. I work directly with senior leaders who are very smart and know their craft well. They are interested in making sure you are learning and happy to work there. My team is small and support one another. We have very strong leadership from the top and we feel that they are invested in the people working here.

    Cons

Some cons to being a part of Omnicom. It's a large and slow organization but has strong network of clients. Some times life/work balance can be difficult

I have been working at Resolution full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It’s a good first job with cool clients. That’s about all I got.

    Cons

They bully you into taking the job only giving 1 day to respond; if you take this job think twice about if you really want to do paid media because they make you feel like you’re stuck on your team in your position. I’ve talked to my manager about switching teams within my client because of burnout and he said no.

I worked at Resolution full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Resolution is a good place to start in digital advertising with a great on boarding and training program, some of which is dependent on your team. If you put in the effort, you will learn a lot while working with very smart, friendly people along with awesome partners.

    Cons

Since the corporate office move to New York within the past six months, if you are not based in New York, you do not matter and are not valued. Leadership talks in circles to the point employees nod their head, tell them what they want to hear and tune them out. Clients can be challenging but that is with any agency.

I have been working at Resolution full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fortune 500 clients, unbeatable culture, continuous opportunities for learning and challenges (training, cross-team communications, stretch projects), perfect place to start your career, learn everything there is to know about SEM, Programmatic, etc. and grow with the company. Also has really great benefits and an unbeatable PTO structure.

    Cons

Some jobs can be siloed into one channel or function, but this isn't a huge issue if you work hard and ask for opportunities to cross-learn.

I worked at Resolution full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Resolution is a great place to kick start your career in digital advertising. You will learn a lot of information quickly and work with great partners like Google, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest.

    Cons

Senior leadership is fiscally focused and does not put a lot of resources into growing and maintaining employees that are crucial to moving the business forward. It was difficult seeing smart talent walk out the door. While there is talk of flexible time off and working from home, that rarely happens. There are no established ways of working which foster an environment of chaos and negativity. Entry-Mid level employees are disrespectful of management. Lack of new business does not allow employees an opportunity to grow and try new things. The agency itself does not have a clear "north star" which makes company growth challenging.
