+ Colleagues are a good laugh + Relaxed environment in warehouse + Regular working hours (8:30am - 5pm, Mon - Fri) + Bank holidays off
Cons
Auto-pilot work when you're used to it. A sufficient stop-gap job while you figure out what you want to do, not a career. Left the company feeling entirely burnt out and under-appreciated. - No bonuses regardless of experience or performance - Competence lands you more work but the same pay as those who coast along/fly under the radar - Lack of progression - No Christmas shutdown - Management out of touch; targets set by desk-sitting higher ups - Ask people to use their holidays when over-staffed - Sometimes approve too many holidays and leave (already thin-stretched) staff worse off - 30min unpaid lunch while doing a physical job
