- good compensation similar to Goldman Sachs (key management are all GS people) - good exposure to Senior people (because small organisation)
Cons
- very long hours for 90% of department - no career progression after few years because above mid level people do not leave - most of departments have towards-zero attitude re WFH or hybrid working - lots of in-flight at the same level of people because no career progression - they do not tend to follow their internal rules or policy

Pros
Some of the work was genuinely interesting, and a few of the colleagues made it worth going in as it's not a massive company so you get to know most people.
Cons
Some very cliquey behaviour especially at the top, and middling roles, everything needed to go past the hierarchy which sometimes led to stagnation. Hardly any diversity. Toxic behaviour of some colleagues was not only not punished but almost excused - HR (some of the worst offenders for a clique) did nothing to help. Very little meritocracy - you felt like you had to be part of an 'in' crowd all the time, and perform for superiors to get anywhere.
