      Pros

      Very psychologically informed, great teams, accommodation services undergoing a lot of positive change which is already being felt. I genuinely enjoy and love working for Second Step. I feel appreciated in what I do and am supported well through the more challenging moments that are inevitable in the sector. They are a progressive employer and other local organisations could learn a lot from them.

      Cons

      Salaries poor and bordering on unacceptable for front line staff. This is something they are working on although you think it would be a pretty easy decision to make instead of delaying for another year.

      There are very hardworking professionals that work directly with vulnerbale aduts with complex needs

      Cons

      Remote senior management that are divorced from the very difficult work that support workers do. Shocking lack of essential policies. Poor salaries.
