    Pros

Awesome training where you get to eat the food when you're done making it. Great benefits, flexible scheduling, and employee appreciation.

    Cons

A lot more work than one person can handle sometimes. There are long periods of being understaffed and in a desperate attempt to rectify that, lazy, unqualified people are hired. I think a lot of don't anticipate how truly hard and stressful MTO is.

    Advice to Management

    Hire better people.

I have been working at Sheetz full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The pay can be great, but be willing to work for it. The atmosphere can be soo fun, especially if you have a great manager (like me). the company gives so much back to it's employees. We have bar b ques, parties, and all kinds of outings. Always room for advancement, because the company is growing. The Sheetz family is great. I have seen Adam Sheetz jump on a register with no problem just to help out. Benefits, the best. My insurance is better than my wife's' who work in a hospital.

    Cons

Store level can get stressful, but what job doesn't have those days?

    Advice to Management

treat your employees with value and the rest will fall in place. Show them that you're willing to work just as hard as you're asking them too.

I have been working at Sheetz part-time

    Pros

As far as gas stations go, Sheetz rewards you for your work and encourages you to stay through benefits and consistent raises.

    Cons

You have to be prepared to work odd hours, weekends, and holidays. Overall, the work isn't incredibly challenging.

    Advice to Management

Provide more ways for workers to advance throughout the company and create more jobs that focus on advancing from within the company.

I worked at Sheetz part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, great experience in multiple areas, discounts on MTO and fizz city.

    Cons

Expected to be able to work at a call's notice, work life balance isn't very good, especially if you're a student.

    Advice to Management

Understand that some kids are take their education more seriously than their part time job, don't make them feel bad for that.
