Pros

- Remote work from home -Good Work life balance with generous PTO

Cons

- Toxic management style. You are belittled in chat rooms and ranked against your peers. It doesn't foster a working team environment, but rather a save your own butt approach. - Pay is low. Like ridiculously low for what is expected. And they aren't honest about the job in the interview so you know what to expect for that pay. - Micromanaging. Everything you do is monitored and picked apart each day with how you could have done things better. And not in a positive way. - The don't hire/keep enough staff to properly handle accounts. Response times to customers is slow do to understaffing and then the managers complain that customers are being reached out to.

Pros

- Hands-off leadership team that's driven by results - Plenty of learning opportunities - Supportive environment that's free of big egos - Lots of transparency from partners - Growing user base but the team is still nimble and can launch new initiatives quickly - Work-life balance. My managers take an interest in my life and want to make sure I’m happy in my role. - The yearly meetups are fun

Cons

- Typical growing pains of a scaling company - If you’re a self-starter who can set your own goals (that are aligned with the company's) and then work to meet them with minimal supervision, you’ll thrive here. However, if you prefer very structured environments where you're assigned a set of tasks, this may not be the place for you. - Working remotely isn’t for everyone. It does require discipline.

Pros

My time as SimpleTexting thus far has been the best employment experience to date in my professional career. Everyone on the team has a self-starter mentality and strives for excellence in their work. Also, "teamwork" isn't merely a byword at SimpleTexting, it's a reality that's played out on a daily basis. It means that everyone's expected to perform their work, and to perform it well, in order to produce an unfounded level of service to customers. Other Perks: - Fully distributed team (everyone works remotely!) - Unlimited time off - Constructive feedback channels - Helpful and intentional new employee training model - Genuine willingness to communicate and cooperate

Cons

- None to date *Note: It's a very good idea to have remote work experience or at least an idea of what to expect with a remote role. Working remotely is a lifestyle change, so be ready for it if you're selected to be part of the team!

It means a lot that you’d take the time to share your positive experience with others! We couldn’t agree more that a strong team is integral to success. We’ll keep working to bring on team members who are a good fit in the long term.
