I have been working at Smart72 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very friendly and warm environment. Immediately when I started working for Smart72 everyone was extremely welcoming. The call center is an upbeat place to be, everyone works well together and is always willing to lend a hand with any issue. We are encouraged to do our best as a team; no one is singled out. Management is personable and easy to talk to, always willing to work with schedules to ensure employee's home life and outside needs are also a priority.

    Cons

None to share at the moment

I have been working at Smart72 full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Really enjoy my coworkers. Most are humble, friendly, and skilled. They don't over exert you but challenge you to bring your best.
Lots of people to learn from, and you're not micromanaged.

    Cons

I think the way they assess people could be better. Could have some more events, but usually related to your specific department

  8. "Bad Management"

    I worked at Smart72 full-time

    Pros

I have nothing nice to say about SMART 72 , they steal from retired people

    Cons

Things were constantly changing as well as management . They would give you incentives so you could earn a little extra money but the minute you became great or good they would take it away. Overall, honestly I felt like I was cheating the customers . Our goal was to get in the home and sale them something. Our focus was mainly on 30 year old units and more. Honestly working for Smart 72 gave me nightmares

    Advice to Management

Be honest, and treat your employees fair and pretending to be active christian people.

    I worked at Smart72 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

they had a decent sales training course they sent us to in virginia. Learned a good bit there, never got paid back for my expenses though..??

    Cons

they provide no training whatsoever for their employees which i find unbelievable. This would be good for super experienced people but if you have little to no experience they expect you to take their subpar training and apply it without any job shadowing or help from management. I've never seen anything like it. With that said, their prices are a good 25-50% higher than the competition for the same exact junky products. Makes selling them that much harder for people without decades of hvac experience. Preys on customer's fear of their system failing which in most cases is straight up lies. Unless you're a selling tech, people are probably not going to believe a word you say in regards to that. I made less than a grand in like 5 weeks and never got paid for training, hiring an attorney and talking with the labor board about it after over 10 attempts to collect the money. Also they send their reps from myrtle beach to their baby office in charleston that has no staff because of all these issues. So all the service guys and sales guys for the most part are forced to drive from myrtle beach and georgetown to get the inspections and service done. As you can imagine this is a total disaster, and contributes poorly to overall morale of both offices. High turnover with lowest pay in the local industry

    Advice to Management

go out with your guys and show them how to sell effectively ? whether you actually know the step by step corporate recommends or not.. You prefer to hire guys with little to no hvac experience how can you expect them to do anything but look stupid in front of the customers

    I worked at Smart72 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Build your resume, with fluff titles, and empty promotions

    Cons

There is zero training provided, mostly because no one really knows what they are doing.

10 hour days, with six day work weeks, are not unusual, and often required. Less from their hourly employees (that they would have to compensate) but more from their salaried employees that are worked into the ground.

Turn over is a huge problem. Hiring and firing constantly. There is zero job security with this company.

    Advice to Management

Jason: scale back and learn to manage. Your boom and bust cycle effects your entire team, and their families, not just your own.
