Honestly, there was very little to appreciate during my time here. A few talented colleagues made the day-to-day bearable, and I genuinely enjoyed working alongside them — but that's about where the positives end.

Cons

The core problem at Software Finder is leadership. The manager runs the place on intimidation rather than trust — decisions are forced through, disagreement is treated as disloyalty, and abusive language is normalized. Anyone who raises a genuine concern gets labeled as incompetent or quietly pushed to the side. As someone in a senior product role, I found it nearly impossible to do meaningful work when every discussion turned into a power struggle instead of a conversation. Instead of treating benefits as something every employee earns, management uses salary as a weapon — the attitude is "we're already paying you more, so you don't deserve benefits." Being told you haven't earned what others receive is demoralizing and makes it clear that fairness isn't a priority here. The result is predictable: good people leave. I watched capable engineers, designers, and product folks walk out one after another, and leadership treated it as no loss. There's a genuine belief at the top that employees exist to comply, not contribute. Morale is low, output suffers, and the company's reputation in the market reflects it. I'd advise anyone considering a role here to think carefully before joining.

Pros

There are some genuinely hardworking individuals across teams who want to do meaningful work. For early-career employees, it can be a place to gain experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Cons

A major challenge is the organizational culture and leadership dynamics. Decision-making and recognition often appear influenced by proximity to leadership rather than consistent performance metrics. This can unintentionally reward politics, flattery, or alignment with leadership personalities over independent thinking or constructive feedback. Communication between leadership and teams is also inconsistent. Expectations can shift quickly, and employees are sometimes evaluated against standards that were never clearly defined or communicated. Another concern is the tone of internal leadership conversations. In several instances, I witnessed a lack of respect toward team members when they were not present, including dismissive commentary about employees behind closed doors. This was observed across senior leadership most dominantly, including within the C-suite. On any given day you'll find the entire senior leadership sitting and gossiping in a c-suite members office. This type of culture erodes trust and psychological safety, making it more difficult for teams to collaborate openly or raise concerns. Frequent structural changes and unclear content and marketing direction further add to the uncertainty employees experience.
