    Pros

If are ready to work hard, challenge yourself, grow and develop your career with a group of diverse, intelligent and fun people; this is the place you want to work for. If you are trying to collect a paycheck, this is not the place for you.

    Cons

Work overload can get stressful and overwhelming.

I worked at SpotMe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    *Work with fun friendly people
*Fun office with team lunches and nerf basketball, snacks and drinks provided and a great atmosphere
*An exciting product that is truly useful to the clients.
Diverse travel opportunities across the U.S. and around the globe.
*Top level management that is available, and really listens to everyone.
*Great Benefits (Medical and Dental are outstanding and not costly)
    *Highly flexible PTO benefits

    Cons

*Extremely rapid growth means that company structure changes often and can lead to confusion.
*Heavy workloads and long hours are expected regularly. Former "slow times" are disappearing meaning there are rarely breather periods.
*Poor communication about product feature changes can leave PM's not always knowing what the app is capable of. (This issue was getting better just before I left, but still not perfect)
*Department silos meant there was some, but not much room for advancement in the company.

    Advice to Management

Decide if the company is going to be an flexible startup or a corporate tech firm and embrace which ever one you choose, but fluctuating company culture is hard to adjust to.

I worked at SpotMe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work can be tough, but the whole team is in it together.

If you like racking up frequent flyer miles, this is for you

Team and product is the best in the business, and they know it. Clients know it too

Plenty of room to choose your own path.

    Cons

Cyclical business sometimes means feast or famine environment - multiple projects all one after the next followed by a month or two with not much going on.

I worked at SpotMe (More than a year)

    Pros

The people that work there are great and really supportive. There is a lot of travel involved in the events industry in general so you become good friends with your colleagues pretty quickly.

    Cons

The company is run like a startup, even though it is 14 years old.
Office life is a bit stressful because of random outbursts from the CEO.
Brilliant he may be, he is seriously lacking in people skills.

    Advice to Management

Management seriously need to implement an HR department. Too many grievances just get swept under the rug.

    I worked at SpotMe full-time

    Pros

Welcome !

    Advice to Management

Respecter vos salariés car la nouvelle génération ne sera peut-être pas prête à se faire diriger de cette façon et accepter n'importe quoi. Qui viendra alors travailler chez vous dans le futur ?
