I worked at Spotless (More than 5 years)

    Pros

When we paid wrong, this was often corrected immediately.
Being such a large organisation, Spotless Services compensated us for staff parking at the airport which was good as many other companies at the airport would just take this out of their employee's wages.

    Cons

We often had management visit out store at Perth Domestic Airport and criticise us loudly at the front of the store, on one occasion this was done so publicly that our supervisor was brought to tears and a customer who had overheard came up to let us know that it was unprofessional, she even put in a formal complaint for us.

In April this year, with 2 weeks notice our team of over 15 people was made redundant. Though there was promise that the area manager would prioritize relocating us within other departments of Spotless, there was limited help given and to this day, only one of my former co-workers has been given a job.

    Advice to Management

Myself and my former colleagues had all been working for Spotless Services for 5 years or more and yet we weren't looked after at all. One of the ladies has had been made redundant twice now by Spotless and she has been with the company for over 30 years. Look after your employees more.

    I worked at Spotless part-time

    Pros

get to work in various bars around the MCG, was mainly busy during the breaks of the game. Got to work with young people around the same age group.

    Cons

Shifts were only 3 hours when you started, dealing with drunk fans is interesting. the space in the bar wasnt very big as well, would always have to wait for the manager to give you more change if you had run out and sometimes the bar would run out of beer during the game

I worked at Spotless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked in Sydney Airport location. Payment was competitive, no pressure, most collegues were nice except few lazy guys and selfish guys.

    Cons

Suck management, always making issues, only looking after their friends but nobody else, they had no idea what they should focus on. Poor management.

    Advice to Management

Better the headquarter look over the whole management system and take the useless guys out, think about why the sales was keeping decreasing and some many outlets closed down.
