I worked at Spry Methods full-time

    Pros

While you're working on-site the management is typically hands off, which is a con as well as a pro.
    Paychecks are always on time.
    Benefits are good.

    Cons

Management is typically hands-off. Got a problem at the jobsite? Deal with it! Want to meet your PM or boss? Go to the Christmas party.
HR staff turnover all the time.

    Advice to Management

Try to meet up with your employees at their job site (or at a place nearby). I had my annual review over the phone, never met my program manager or anyone else in upper management.

Be up front with employees about whether or not they will get a raise. People generally expect one after a year, if they won't be getting one, let them know.

Let employees know about their benefits and the termination of benefits, more than an unspecific blurb in the handbook.
