Pros

There are a ton of career growth opportunities at the company. Because the team is lean, you gain exposure to real-time decision-making processes and skill-building opportunities that are rare elsewhere. Great pay and compensation is also a huge perk. The leaders are looking for go-getters who really believe in the company's mission. You'll have to be ready to wear different hats because that's how startups roll – a can-do attitude is a must.

Cons

10+ hour days, many people are probably working closer to 12 hours a day when you include the amount of travel folks have to do while working here. There's a huge in office culture, so if you're not ready to eat all your meals with co-workers, this isn't the place for you. Days fly by because of the amount of work there is, but this is a warning. The Company is very upfront with the amount of work required, so you also shouldn't be surprised.

Pros

Subject is the best place I've worked in a long time. The grind is real - it takes dedication, commitment, and effort to grow a company. And it pays off with an incredible mission, amazing teammates, and an opportunity to see how your day-to-day work evolves you and the students we work tirelessly for. Dedicated to great compensation for committed and fantastic talent, Subject is a place where transparency and communication are critical and valued. I truly enjoy the work, the people, and the purpose.

Cons

Subject has been through a lot in its four years of existence, and that is represented here on Glassdoor. It's not for everyone - you really have to be dedicated to the mission and ready to prioritize it after your family and your health. If this isn't for you, then it's not the right place to be.
