In short, the boss is reactionary and bases many decisions on assumptions. My job never felt secure because the boss threatened to fire people on a whim. She changed billing and marketing expectations frequently, often in mid month. She has “stretched the truth” to clients and has directed staff to do the same. I moved across the country for this job, and I was never sure I would be paid/have my job the next day. A paycheck was short, and money problems always seemed to be lurking. Additionally, although the staff is wonderful, there is no appropriate hierarchy in the office.
