    Pros

Good team that works hard. Drinks and snacks provided.

    Cons

The company is growing and they have brought in new management. New management style is to micromanage and it has become a negative work environment. Good people are leaving or looking to leave because they are made to feel replaceable. Morale is low and doesn't seem to be getting better.

    Advice to Management

Open a dialogue with team about problems. Apply techniques from the book you wrote with your own company.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at TalentSmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Direct contact with senior leadership. The team at headquarters has been with the company for over 5 years and each person has a clear set of expectations for performance.

    Cons

The company morale is very low in headquarters. Leadership does not live by what they preach, they need emotional intelligence. Company is very cheap and getting cheaper each day, they seem to live in scarcity so be cautious. As they grow into a larger company they have created an extra layer in the chain of command. This has created an environment where those at the top are hearing only what is filtered up to them.

    Advice to Management

Rid yourself of the cancerous energy you have so wrongly hired to "standardize" as you attempt to grow the company.
