Pros

Fully remote, some good colleagues

Cons

The CEO demonstrates limited understanding of core operational work and he has a temper. There is a strong push to replace human-driven processes with AI, often at the expense of product quality and the overall student experience. Significant resources have been allocated toward AI initiatives, with an expectation of reducing staffing and task time, which has at times resulted in subpar outputs being pushed out prematurely and positioned as innovation. Communication has become increasingly unclear and less effective, particularly following recent leadership changes. The organization appears to have relied heavily on three key employees. The former COO left several months ago, and since then, overall stability and performance have declined. This has led to the departure of the second key employee, which will presumably compound current issues. While the company previously offered a more positive work environment, current conditions make it difficult to recommend as a workplace for new employees.

Pros

Several of the people who work here are great. Pay is decent.

Cons

Echoing the other review, the founder is known to cut many corners and treat his employees poorly.

Pros

- I admire the company's mission. - There are some excellent professors there (also have a mathematician). - Jeff Miller is the most amazing guy (and instructor) on the planet. - The materials and tools are appropriate for your preparation. - They are really concerned with your success as a student.

Cons

According to an email from the Founder & CEO, numerous advantages as an employee were not met during my time there: - Flexible hours: Unavailability during non-traditional office hours seemed to provoke an irate response from my direct boss, highlighting a disconnect between company policy and managerial expectations. - Company trip once a year: it never happened. - Vacation: Says there are 20 days , but in reality there are only 18, if Christmas and New Year's Day fall on a Saturday or Sunday. Additionally to this: - The team I worked was not a united team, you only work for the salary. - The word of my direct boss was the only one that counts. - I wrote several times to the CEO but he never responded to me. - My direct boss was good at the technical part but he lacked soft skills.
