Pros

You earn income, that is it.

Cons

I have never seen a more dysfunctional or toxic workplace than ThinkLP. Even when talking to friends and colleagues about it trying to be positive and objective they would tell me it sounds like hell on Earth. It was. Everyone, especially leadership, throws each other under the bus. If you ask for guidance on a decision you get none. No one wants to give anyone absolutes. This leaves you two options when you are actually trying to do your job. You can make a decision yourself, communicate it and the reasoning as thoroughly as possible, and will get yelled at, told you messed up and fired. Or, you can layout options with pros or cons, get stuck in endless weeks of meetings trying to get alignment on a decision, fall behind schedule and get fired for missing the deadline or not being a "team player". No one in leadership has any management skills. They are either entirely absent or micromanaging to the point of calling people at 11pm asking them why they aren't online. Working at ThinkLP is the lowest point of my career. I will leave it off my resume as I would rather say I had an over year long gap than think about my time there ever again. I developed zero skills, shipped nothing I was proud of and cried every Sunday night at the thought of having to speak to the people who work there again. The worst part is, working with toxic people made me toxic. I hated myself every day. If you doubt what is written in this review or any other, just ask for the eNPS results and you will see none of it is an exaggeration.

Pros

Some of their customers don't realize how bad their software is.

Cons

This is a company that built a spaghetti mess of a software 'platform', on top of Salesforce, with zero expertise, or attention to how it will grow and scale and interact. There is no documentation, the bare minimum of testing-- just to get past Salesforce' requirements, and constant constant regressions. Instead of fixing their product development practices, they hired sales and customer service people to sell their shoddy product and patch up the holes. The original owner sold it to private equity when it got unsustainable, and then they put in leadership who care nothing about the tech stack, the product, or their employees. This leaves leadership with two tools in their chest when things move slowly, gaslight everyone into thinking things are great and they just need to keep going without fixing anything, or when that stops working, fire everyone. At the same time, Sales and Customer Service know on some level that their jobs are redundant if the product is built properly, so are actively hostile to the product development team.

Toxic and micro managing culture

Pros

Remote work Base pay is descent

Cons

CRO speaks (often yells) at team with condescending and disrespectful tone (boomer, outdated shaming tactics/boys club type) Burn out culture Micro managing Sketchy business practices such as recruiting from their customers and not paying you the right amount on your paycheck. Product is outdated and they’ve invested little into development and innovation, limited ai features, looks like it was made in the 1990s Very long sale cycle Market is saturated and most prospects are locked into long contracts with competitors or they’re already customers Only accept an offer if you are desperate for a job, and if so, start planning your exit strategy as soon as you start.
