Pros

ThreeFlow is made up of smart, hardworking people who genuinely care about the future of the company and its clients. There’s a strong culture of collaboration, and many team members are supportive and willing to step in to help. Leadership is ambitious and clearly motivated to push innovation within the benefits technology space. The company also makes a clear effort to foster an inclusive environment where people of different backgrounds, identities, and communities feel welcomed and supported. The company maintains an open-door culture where employee feedback and ideas are welcomed. Leadership and ownership are highly visible and regularly engage in day-to-day conversations across Slack channels with employees at all levels, which felt refreshing. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, high visibility, and being part of a company that’s still building and evolving, this can be an exciting place to work. There are real opportunities to learn quickly and work cross-functionally.

Cons

As with many growing companies, there were times when decision-making felt misaligned. Multiple stakeholders were often involved in day-to-day topics, which sometimes made ownership unclear. For new employees especially, the level of oversight from various leads and managers could feel intense. While the intention was clearly to support and ensure success, it could feel more directive and micromanaging than empowering. The platform and internal processes were still evolving, which made training challenging at times, particularly when learning workflows that were actively being refined. I had hoped to contribute feedback around training and process improvements at the start of the new year; however, my role was eliminated during a restructuring shortly after returning from the holidays. There were also concerns around the volume of work being outsourced. The outsourcing efforts were followed by a restructuring that impacted several team members. That sequence created deeper uncertainty about long-term role stability.

Pros

I worked here for 7 months before I was laid off - not sure I had time to find the Pros.

Cons

Laid myself and many others off and then received 30 million dollars in series C funding.
