Pros

A typical day at Thrive is meaningful and dynamic—I’m in schools working directly with students, collaborating with teachers, and partnering with families to support individualized learning. I’ve learned how powerful true teamwork and clear communication can be, especially when everyone is invested in a child’s success. Management is supportive, accessible, and genuinely values our input, which makes the work feel purposeful. The workplace culture is warm, collaborative, and centered around relationship-building. The most enjoyable part is seeing students build confidence, make progress, and connect with the people around them. Being part of those moments—and being trusted by families and educators—is incredibly rewarding.

Cons

The hardest part of the job is balancing the needs of multiple students and school teams while staying flexible in fast-changing environments.

Pros

Thrive stands out in so many ways. It is a place that continues to promote and encourage learning and the team puts 110% in the work they do. I feel surrounded by like-minded clinicians who want to provide individualized supports to kids and their families in meaningful ways. It is a place I feel heard, feel challenged, and supported. The ABA that is provided is developmental, behavioral, and focused on family values. I appreciate and am committed to the play-based naturalistic approach and use of ESDM. I learn something new every week from one of my colleagues and appreciate the small team.

Cons

Less face to face with co-workers, driving, paperwork

Pros

Very collaborative environment. Great company to learn and grow with.

Cons

I didn't find there to be many cons working with Thrive. They are moving towards a focus on Early Start Denver Model so this might not be the best fit if your strength is working with older clients, but if you're interested in working with young children and learning ESDM then it's a great company.
