      Pros

The only pro is the Paycheck

      Cons

      - No time off - Heavy work loads - Manager knows absolutely nothing and will pawn you off to your peers - They want you to work as a temp for the rest of your life without hiring you on as a permanent employee - No room for growth - No opportunities to learn more about the company/position

I have been working at Topco Associates full-time

        Pros

        Free coffee in break room

        Cons

Nearly daily brow beatings from management. Tasks and responsibilities continue to be piled on the lower levels while resources continue to be cut. Waves of employees leaving, the ones still there go to work fearful of what they are going to be blamed for next. Expectations are way out of whack and set up employees to fail. Extremely stressful place to work.

        Advice to Management

None, they wouldn't listen to any if it was provided.

I have been working at Topco Associates full-time for more than 5 years

        Pros

Every day is a different day. The work never gets boring. My supervisor lets me know I'm doing good work that that my role indispensable to the team and to the members. That's something I never heard at other jobs. The work is difficult, and I find myself managing things I'd never expected but it's also rewarding. Topco offers a lot of vacation time - 23 days and the benefits are very good. They also match my 401K contribution...

        Cons

I often have more work than I can finish in a day but speaking up and asking for help has improved the situation. Managers aren't often supportive of taking time off and they sometimes wait a long time before letting me know what I need to improve. It can be awkward and embarrassing when this happens, but it's getting better. There aren't always clearly defined processes for important functions which can lead to communication...

        Advice to Management

Encourage associates to speak up about things they are struggling with. Let your employees know if something is wrong right away so we can fix it. Increase our work from home days to once a week.

I have been working at Topco Associates full-time for more than a year

        Pros

I have been at Topco for a while now. I get up every morning and cannot wait to get here. All of the people I work with in my department are partners for success, we trust each other and work together to achieve goals. I have constant feedback from my direct supervisor, and I have skip levels with my supervisor's manager to make sure everything is going well and that I am getting the right support to succeed. Cons

The Telecommuting policy could be expanded as it is only one day every 2 weeks. The desktop technology, while good, could be much better. My commute is not great. At least for me, I am pretty happy with my decision to join Topco, so I do not have many cons to give.

        Advice to Management

I am still kind of new, so I am not sure I have any solid advice to give to Management at this time.

I have been working at Topco Associates full-time for more than 8 years

        Pros

Paid time off, holiday boxes, food trucks in the summer.

        Cons

Upper management and HR gloss over what has happened for the last 12+ months. Multiple firings have been blamed on restructuring or legal reasons when people did not deserve to be let go. Then others (that clearly lacked in job skills) were allowed to tell employees that they were leaving for new opportunities. No one is being fooled to the fact that all of the changes are coming from one individual and how a company...

        Advice to Management

HR is a joke and has been for over 8 years (at least the almost 8 I have been here). Scrap it and start over if you care to keep some dignity and trust. Then hire someone who know how to manage people. Cross train your teams, no one knows what the others do.
