Pros
The people. Seriously, it's like a little family in the middle of a big world of IT jobs. Regular lunches as a group, a chance to get to know everyone, and a really solid work-life balance. I usually ended up working more than 40 hours (the salary was for 40 a week), but if I needed a day off for family, it was a done deal. If not for a huge opportunity right in my back yard, I would have stayed a long time!
Cons
Some of my favorite people have left, including our amazing director/manager. When Topify was bought by VerticalScope out of Canada, there was a lot of friction. I'm a bit worried that VS will take the corporate culture and try to match it to their (rather disorganized) structure.
