    I worked at Topshop part-time

    Pros

Discount on clothing and you get out before 10:30pm on night shift

    Cons

Place is great, and management is great too

    I worked at Topshop part-time

    Pros

It’s great working with a bunch of different people everyday. You get to dress up or dress down, dress however you want within the company guidelines (just no visible name brand clothing). Can be a good environment for people your age

    Cons

Hard to get promoted. Unless you are a manager, you are considered “part-time” and can not work more than 39 hours in a week. The pay is not that much for New York living (I made I believe $12.75/hr after my pay raise of $1.25/hr). You really have to be living at your parents home to work here and be able to “make” money.

I have been working at Topshop full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good discount for management. Decent amount of PTO for management.
There is no basis for structure, so there’s an opportunity to bring your knowledge to the role.

    Cons

Training is almost non existent. Expectations are followed up on heavily before they’re actually set. The owner of the company is a misogynist racist sexual predator. Beyoncé doesn’t approve of the brand and has pulled Ivy Park out of the stores. (Very concerning)

    Advice to Management

Training seems to be the biggest opportunity.

I worked at Topshop part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great managers and coworkers, good environment, paid and in-depth training, nice location.

    Cons

At my time of employment (the first year the store was open) there were too many workers and most everyone got very little hours. When people started leaving, management made it known that they were looking to hire more people instead of giving still-existing workers more shifts.

    Advice to Management

Encourage employees (in a private setting) to speak up about their satisfaction (or dissatisfaction) with their number of current hours.

    I worked at Topshop full-time

    Pros

Lovely clean store there’s a great sense of community amongst staff and it’s in a great area

    Cons

They’ll make you feel like you can move up but they choose favorites and promote their friends. Just work there temporarily if you want to work there because you’ll put too much of yourself in the company and they won’t appreciate your work.
They don’t give raises every 6 months like they should even if you’re a good worker

    Advice to Management

Don’t discriminate and promote the people who’ve worked there long before promoting a new person
