Good people, let down by poor leadership and care.

Pros

Reasonable numbers of students. Practical delivery is main subject delivery. My direct manger is supportive and helpful. Department manger is also helpful and supportive. Great environment to learn in for staff and students.

Cons

Too much administration paperwork. Poor management at higher levels. Can be poorly organised due to a lack of support at senior level. Pay ( no rises for 8 years and rising). Poor IT equipment and provision for staff and learners. Old machinery and equipment, lacks investment.

Half day Friday is good. Good people work there as tutors

Cons

Poor management care little about employees. Poor pay and no advancement. Worked in automotive no investment. Just wanted the funding and did not care about quality.
