I have been working at Trelleborg full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overtime is always available even if you don't want it

    Cons

Upper management dose NOT listen to floor employees opinions. Also the pay isn't in line with other tire pants around the area, and Holliday's are hardly ever given off unless there is a maintenance issue.

    Advice to Management

Show more respect and appreciation to the workers

I have been working at Trelleborg (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Salary
    2. Tech
    3. Coworkers
    4. Location
    5. Advancement

Overall, the company is great, very fair and balanced. I do not feel over worked and good pay. Note, pay is actually higher.

    Cons

    1. Occasional mismanagement
    2. Time wasting in unimportant projects

Nothing to bad to say, just that there are times when you feel like you are working on projects where you feel that your time is better used elsewhere.

I worked at Trelleborg full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Salary and Family insurance. Only Pros for working here.

    Cons

    - No long term vision or long term plan in place
    - Company in panic mode & market reactionary mode all the time, everytime
    - Mediocre Executive Management, where only how many years with company matter (not merit or accomplishments),
    - Butter the boss and survive (Management does not want your expertise & professional opinion)

    Advice to Management

Beyond repair, after 70% lay offs only a few delusional personnel remaining. Won't be surprised if Trelleborg files Chapter 11 and shuts door permanently sometime soon!

I worked at Trelleborg full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Tuition reimbursement, competitive pay, extended time off during Christmas and New Year's Day. some travel may be required for work reasons

    Cons

Favoritism, Incompetent management, false promises, very few time benefits, little to no job security, fake promotions, very few pay increases

    Advice to Management

Learn to value your employees by how hard they work, rather than how much time they spend pretending to agree with everything you say. When you make a promise, follow through. Rather than punishing employees, try coaching them and encouraging them to improve. Treat employees as individuals, not dollar signs.
