    I worked at Trelleborg full-time

    Pros

Fast moving and dynamic, some very good people. Presence in many countries so many opportunities to travel in the right job.

    Cons

Occasionally looks down on the customer behind closed doors. This isn't particularly unusual in an environment where the company is a respected expert in a field, but still grates sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Increase the global collaboration of the distributed businesses, there is a lot they can learn from each other.

I have been working at Trelleborg full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love working for this company. Leadership treats me with respect and does an amazing job at harnessing new ideas and translating them to the business. I've made many friends with some of the hardest working and most talented people on the planet.

As a young professional, this company has taken me across the world. I've learned so much from so many and feel grateful to work here.

    Cons

Fairly siloed across the business areas.

    Advice to Management

Continue keeping the customer and front line staff as a priority.

I have been working at Trelleborg full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overtime is always available even if you don't want it

    Cons

Upper management dose NOT listen to floor employees opinions. Also the pay isn't in line with other tire pants around the area, and Holliday's are hardly ever given off unless there is a maintenance issue.

    Advice to Management

Show more respect and appreciation to the workers

I have been working at Trelleborg full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great holiday schedule. It's nice to have a week in between the winter holidays off.

    Cons

Keeps increasing the portion of Medical premium to offset their own healthcare contribution this past year. The past 2 restructures have gutted all confidence in management -and are creating huge divisions between offices. The decisions have negative impact on the income of employees and the stress/mental health level within the offices. They value EBIT contribution over hard work, dedication. The most recent restructure was marketed as creating more opportunities for lateral movement, but it actually reduced mid-level jobs and opportunites. This is the complete opposite of the lip-service we were given. No merit based raises, only "cost-of-living" if the office made targets-and are lower than inflationary trends. Employees staying with the company long term can expect to see their worth erroded year over year. Pay is 10-20% lower that regional "market rate." Growth through acquisition isn't a viable long term strategy.

    Advice to Management

Compensate your employees better and in line with market rates per region. Inflation is not the same everywhere. Don't tell employees we didn't hit numbers so there are no raises, and then publish record profits. It makes you look REALLY bad. Promote minority groups and women- there is still too few of these in the US at executive and management levels. Happier employees will work harder, stay with the company longer, and your profits will grow if you invest in your teams.
