    Pros

Once in awhile you do have an opportunity to help a student that will benefit from their education at Triangle Tech. More often than not,it's just a money-grab by the school.

    Cons

No interest in the well-being of students. A peak behind the curtain shows some disturbing trends relating to keeping students in school just long enough to get paid full tuition and the admittance of students that clearly can't handle the class work. (Too many students with sub 7th grade reading & math levels) If you are willing to check your dignity and integrity at the door before starting work....good luck. Micro-management and sheep mentality at its best. Inflated graduation and retention rates to stay certified.

    Advice to Management

You've been doing this for 67 years and I don't know how you sleep at night. You can be so much more if you welcome the 21st century.

    Pros

Free parking, capable faculty, but under appreciated.

    Cons

Overbearing management. Obsolete classroom technology, if any. High turnover. Out of date curriculum.

    Advice to Management

    Upgrade everything. Lighten up.

I have been working at Triangle Tech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Co workers were good. Management was a complete disaster

    Cons

They still try to recruit students the same way they did 25 years ago.

    Advice to Management

Read the book how to win friends and influence people

    Pros

The money wasn't too bad, but the benefits were ridiculous and expensive.

    Cons

The company is completely unconcerned about their employees. They are only concerned with making their numbers for starting new students and will fire good employees for not much of a reason.

    Advice to Management

Someone needs to inform the family running that horrible place, that they need to be welcomed into this century, as the way that place is run and the morals that are going on there are a bit shocking, to say the least.

I worked at Triangle Tech full-time

    Pros

    Good benefits! Employees are amazing!

    Cons

This job takes favoritism among employees...they pick and choose on the ones they keep. Pay sucks!

    Advice to Management

HR is a joke! Needs to take more classes on ethnics and organization behavior. Has no idea what they are doing!

Management says on thing and do another.

    Pros

In this particular position you were given a company car that you could drive for personal reasons which was probably the only positive about the position.

    Cons

The pay starts in the low 30s, so its your judgement whether or not you find that competitive in 2016. Benefits are extremely poor. What type of organization matches 0% in a retirement plan?! The curriculum is very outdated much like the facilities. A student with 3 years of vo-tech training will get the same, if not a better job than those who attend the school Charging roughly 35K to become a carpenter, which has a starting salary of $11.50 is ridiculous. They hide behind their welding program, which might be the only decent program the school has to offer, regardless of the fact that most community colleges are now offering similar programs for half the cost. The administration and faculty treats students much like middle school students whereas no one can bring hats, cell phones or drinks into the classroom. These are 20-40 year old adult students by the way. Also I cannot rank culture because it does not exist. They canceled the one annual company picnic a few years ago because nobody would even go to that.

    Advice to Management

I would just suggest looking for future employment opportunities. It's doubtful this organization will still exist in 10 years.
