I have been working at UCHealth full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great colleagues, continuity of patient care is excellent, ever-growing company with many locations across Colorado; health insurance and retirement benefits are wonderful. Company mission and goals are align with the kind of patient care I aim to always provide- evidence-based up-to-medicine with uniquely amazing patient-centered care

    Cons

    Skeletal staff in some departments/days
Sub-standard income salary for providers for location and experience but hopefully that will change soon.
Some of Management’s “goals” are expected to be “standard requirements,” hence, not really a goal.
Epic EMR is a love -hate relationship for many

    Advice to Management

Increase salary incomes so that we can afford to live in Colorado and stay here with UCHEALTH; many good people are leaving due to poor salary and income.
Many of us cannot afford to live here due to low salaries . Perhaps paying off some of our large federal student loans with the current salaries would help- an idea ?!
At least make annual salaries appropriate to clinical provider experience and training in the field.

Also, goals should be goals - refer to above.

    Advice to Management

Utilize the skills, experience knowledge and intelligence that people have, make time to train people
