I worked at UCHealth full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Really care about employees as much as the patiets
For the most part the employees work well as a team to provide the patients with the best possible care.

    Cons

Doctors don't really care about your job. It's one thing that all other employees complain about, from the nurses to housekeeping. They have the mentally that everyone must work around them or adjust the way we do our jobs to fit their needs.

I have been working at UCHealth full-time

    Pros

I am able to pick up lots of hours. They are flexible depending on your unit/department. Pay is good depending on unit/department. Many of the workers are truly fantastic people.

    Cons

Communication can be pretty dreadful. A lot of higher-ups do photo ops of them working the jobs of hourly workers in an effort to seem more down to earth. Despite receiving good feedback management sits at a standstill.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. They deserve it.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

The hospitals and facilities are great.

    Cons

    Ok information systems.
Everything’s pretty cut and dry. You’re shifted to a Management System where there the majority of your work comes from.
The team is spread out across Colorado and peer interaction doesn’t seem like big deal as long as work is getting done. No one really talks or is willing to help out; the office itself is pretty cold.
High task and projects seems to go to the same few folks.
Not much leadership by management. It often seems like they’re willing to throw you under the bus more than support you.
    Pay isn’t that great.
