Cons

Pros
Really are none. They'll even hire you for a regional position and then stick you in OTR and tell you the position was filled after the hiring process... drug test, orientation and all.
Cons
The CH Robinson account has no organization. Dispatchers are the worst. Lucky to even get a appt set and when you do it's not legally possible. 1st day I stepped into the truck after being hired I was asked to be on call... sat without a load my entire first 6 or 7 days. Employed for a year... should have left much sooner.

Pros
The Dispatchers are great an understanding
Cons
The company sold to Kswift, gave all drivers the option to leave or stay. I chose to leave an they put on my report that I was fired. Not True

Pros
I would not work there again No matter how many times they change their name
Cons
They changed their name to variant But trust me it's the same company Because They can't keep nobodySo they figured they would change their name Is to keep their money flowing And heads move in-and-out The government pays them for ever student they seat And offer employment But they will never tell you that. And then you pay them throughout the year They don't care whether they get your money or not Because there's more going out Right now then they are coming in OK new people when you get to orientation class Which they have 2 times a week 30 to 60 people That should explain everything. Now use your head Are you gonna make that number they promised Nah. You're gonna lay around on trucks all week You gotta eat And it's very expensive out there But you get perdem Did you know they're making a percentage off of that Off of your food for the week And since you're a company driver you're no longer eligible to claim perdem At the end of the yearThat the government gives you For food expense Because you're a company driver .So they let the companies do it For you. Now does that tell you anything? Trust me these large companies have their ends and outs covered You're the one gonna lose. And if they try to get you to lease And say it's a walk away Trust me it's not a walk away It's gonna cost you your whole check $500 for cleaning $1100 for walking away And whatever else they can think of. So now you know 75% of the story of the large trucking companies

Pros
Company offers many employee benefit and perks, as well as competitive salary. One of the most noticeable pros is that there are plenty of opportunities to grow and move within the company, as it allows its employees to constantly learn new skills.
Cons
The company is struggling not only financially but strategically planning. Many people were unnecessarily hired in the past months and many of those people had to be laid off because of financial reasons.
