Truly the worst experience of my life

Pros

Days holiday but that’s about it.

Cons

Worst CEO I have ever had the experience of coming across. Out of touch with her senior team and often had differing views to them. Led through bullying. Treated staff poorly and tried to blame them for their inadequacies. Revolving door in some of the teams. Customer First in particular who were treated like scapegoats for other teams failings. Avoid at all costs and don’t be lulled in by their so called ethical approach as they haven’t a clue.

You'll be chewed up and spat out

Pros

Holiday allowance is good because you'll need them holidays while working here.

Cons

Everything else. Management is awful. They'll kiss your other side if you're a very experienced senior member of staff. But like most staff here, if you're under them, they'll treat you like garbage. They are con artists, actors, actresses, liars not to be trusted. Your line manager will get paid 100k plus to do nothing yet they have pride like they know it all. Soo much pride that it leads to arrogance. I ignored the glassdoor reviews when joining. The glassdoor reviews turned out to be exactly true. The CEO is a liar and great actress. The other puppets of hers are all the same.

Pros

None. Literally not a single one.

Cons

I am still angry I bothered working here thinking it would make a "positive impact". Gross pay discrepancies. I was negotiated down to take less than my previous job to work at a bank where management is on silly money. That money meant a lot to me. To them, it's nothing. Then you do more than your job description and they change that rather than adjust your pay fairly. Things that management actually did: A director sent an email to staff on a Sunday night during a snow storm to say they expected us all to travel to the office. That director did not come in the next day. One member of staff's partner had a traumatic, life-threatening accident and they called that staff member to say, "she didn't die though, you're coming in tomorrow, right?" I suspect all positive reviews here are from current staff who have been asked to post them in an attempt to hide the negative ones - this was attempted for Google reviews once. (It wasn't understood that a bad Google review cannot be deleted by the company being reviewed. Obviously, this was the fault of those on "Customer First" who were expected to hack Google. I could go on and on about how bad this place is.
