Pros
Truly kind coworkers that care about the work. Everyone is invested in the company and wants the best. There are no office politics because the CEO is a great leader. It's also exciting because Uprising is growing a lot right now. I never once felt dumb asking a question or making a mistake, and you are encouraged to take on new tasks even if they are outside of what you were originally hired for. For example, I started on the frontend but ended up working on more backend projects because my boss was awesome and gave me the opportunities to learn. My other favorite part about Uprising was the flexibility. You're encouraged to come in often because that's when most work gets done and collaborating with others is just so much easier in person. But if you ever needed a day off, a work from home day or just a change in work hours, no one thought anything of it.
Cons
None. The only thing I can think of is that coming up to speed on some of the terminology/processes can be a bit difficult.
