Managers don’t listen to direct reports They want “yessir” workers and expect you to just take it. Pay is not competitive and they don’t trust their middle managers to make those decisions alone. Benefits in particular health insurance, is terrible for a company this size. The work itself isn’t challenging but good luck finding a manager that actually knows what you’re doing and how to explain it. If you let them, they will stretch you thin and ask for a lot more without pay. Please beware that this company is very antiquated when it comes to engineering solutions.
