Vari reviews

This company went through 5 years of pain, and every employee that has been part of it shows their battle scars. They let go of a vast number of very qualified and talented team members through the past few years and made do with a skeleton crew, and the results show. They lied about why a lot of the senior leadership left. They are no longer the high growth startup, and any chance of recapturing growth died in the hands of the CEO who couldn't be bothered to dive deeper into teams with obviously weak leaders. Competitors have eaten their lunch, poached their talent, and nearly every alumni of Vari is thriving once they left or were mercifully let go. This is not a sinking ship, this is a rowboat.

It didn't take long to start hearing about the "Good old days" at Vari. As a new person, it gave me the feeling like I was 5 years too late to thrive at Vari. Seems like the culture shifted around the time I joined and there was a lot of negativities surrounding it. Most tenured reps seemed to be looking elsewhere and the instability in the business brought a lot of questions regarding the future. Management seemed disjointed but I took it as everyone was just clawing to not get laid off before they found something else.
