I have been working at Veracity Networks full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Working in an evolving industry that gives constant opportunities to learn and grow. If you learn your job well and stay consistent then you will not be micromanaged. You have plenty of resources to learn as much as possible and move within the company.

    Cons

Poor communication between departments. With telecom constantly changing, Veracity can get ahead of themselves and start launching new products before they are fully developed. Training is a little scattered and it's more of a self-motivated study approach. A lot of trial and error.

    I worked at Veracity Networks

    Pros

Paid the bills, a couple of good people work here. Close to the freeway.

    Cons

No teamwork, no collaboration with other departments, it is survival of the fittest. No training, no opportunities for growth/promotion. Network Security is unheard of, email accounts are always getting hacked, phone systems are always getting hacked, sales reps are all incompetent and throw each other under the bus, account reps are miserable and hide when customers complain. hosted specialists are overworked and under trained, management doesn't care about anything, C officers don't know what they're doing and most of them are sexist policy violators but that doesn't matter because HR punishes people who speak up. If you miss your High School days and lack ethics you will fit in fine here.

I worked at Veracity Networks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Casual dress code; decent PTO and holidays. Decent pay. Free soda and snacks.

    Cons

Lots of nepotism. It's not always what you know but who you know. Male-dominant egos get in the way at times.

I have been working at Veracity Networks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The CTO is an amazing individual. One of the best CTO’s I’ve ever worked for. The head developer is one of the most talented developers I’ve ever met. He is incredibly intelligent and has patience for miles. The projects that you work on are sometimes fairly complex that is what makes them a lot of fun to work on. The company is very family oriented and the management will bend over backwards to help you if they can. It’s a fun place to work and very friendly.

    Cons

    Every company has their downsides.

I worked at Veracity Networks full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Local company to Utah They have potential to be great

    Cons

They try to focus too much on the outside edges of networking No research into products Pay isn't the greatest Expand too fast for workforce and resources They are one outage away from going under They are not very security minded They still take credit card information over the phone written on post-its Staff is overworked, under paid and criticized frequently Reputations proceed you, anyone that has worked at Veracity now has a black mark on their work history. Most companies in Utah won't touch former Veracity employees with a 10 foot pole.

    I worked at Veracity Networks

    Pros

Some good employees to work with. Can be laid back at times.

    Cons

Lack of communication between management and its employees. Seems as though there is a lot of pressure in upper management and they take it out on those who actually do the behind the scenes work to keep the company afloat.
