Pros

Smart people, interesting work, headquarters has a great view of the bay. It's fairly close to good restaurants and transit.

Cons

The main downside is the difficulty of making money with open source tools. The company originally tried to sell LAMP software to enterprise customers but the market wasn't there. It's latest product is based on Spring/Hibernate and has a better chance of being accepted in the enterprise. I'm not aware of how successful they've been. Their customer list looks impressive. :)
