I worked at Web Works full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunity to take on more responsibilities than would normally be given to a recent college grad.

    Cons

A lot of pressure that should not be put on employees, unrealistic goals, deadlines and expectations.

  3. "Inexperienced management, little recognition/praise, but plenty of chances to offer up your own ideas."

    Pros

Great for entry level/recent college grads looking to learn more about web design/web copy/SEO basics. Opportunity to offer up your opinions on improving efficiency/productivity as young company grows. Excellent side-by-side training from senior employees. Opportunities for participating in special projects as the company expands.

    Cons

Not where a creative minded individual wants to be. What little recognition is received is based almost completely upon how much you have produced and will produce in the future. Few opportunities to display creative/innovative ideas/talents. Long hours, low pay.

    Advice to Management

Fostering a positive work environment will promote productivity. That, before bonus pay, raises and promotions, should be the most important incentive.

  4. "Good for the right-out-of-college job seeker"

    Cons

A low salary, minimal benefits, inexperienced management

    Advice to Management

Value constructive in-person communication over scripted emailed criticism.
