Pros
I love working at WebstaurantStore because everyone has an a say. The culture in my department is stellar. You’re heard no matter what. They encourage risk-taking as long as you learn from your mistakes. The other thing I like is that the new exec team shows that they care, not just by words but by actions. They also foster diversity and inclusion which I admire. WebstaurantStore is a great place to work!
Cons
When compared to other companies, WebstaurantStore misses the mark when it comes to benefits. Regardless, they have made significant improvements over the years, with the lates adding pet insurance to the plan!

Pros
The overall culture and direction of WebstaurantStore is amazing and I believe will continue to be so. Great benefits, a growth and development mindset for its employees, and an eagerness to constantly find ways to improve at every level. The support and effort from the corporate team is far and away the best I've ever seen. The environment is inclusive without sacrificing a standard of excellence.
Cons
The culture from the corporate level is often ignored or actively fought against in this location. Efforts to cross train employees or further develop them from a professional standpoint were denied, especially within certain departments. Certain members of management are often adversarial towards each other, and positive culture development is entirely ignored in favor of checking off boxes on a to do list. These things drive a high turnover in leadership that dissuades team members from seeking to develop into higher leadership roles. A common saying in this building is "managers get fired".

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our location’s culture. We are sorry you did not have a more positive experience, especially that you felt your concerns were dismissed. We want employees to voice any concerns they may have, and to aid in that we have an open-door policy and anonymous online resources. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where employees feel heard, and we are concerned that was not your experience. Your feedback will be shared with the local leadership team, and we will look for ways to improve employee recognition and positive influences. Thank you again for sharing your experience.
