CEO is an evil man, avoid at all costs

Pros

Amazing coworkers and used to have great management before they all quit because of Jim Brent, the CEO. However, I can't say enough good things about the others that were at this company prior.

Cons

It''s a shame the CEO Jim Brent is such an evil person, because the company culture and everybody else who worked there was dedicated, hardworking and passionate about what they do. This man is vengeful, rude and made half the team quit within two days with his weird and erratic behavior. He does not see his employees as humans and only cares about how much money he can make by essentially using and exploiting others. If you don't comply, he will threaten you and say the most vile things you have every heard in your life. You do not want to work here - unless you enjoy being berated by a bully

Pros

Carrie (sales manager) was very nice and supporting. The instructors seem to care very much about the advancement of students taking the course.

Cons

You're only as good as your last month. Leads are terrible. Upper management never has a single idea as to what is going on which leads to insecurity in their team. Systems are constantly failing which leads to not being able to perform. No opportunities for advancement. Zero coaching or continued training to help support you in the long term. If you have one bad month they'll let you go without blinking.

Enjoy my work, our student customers and the Company

Pros

Myself and the people who work here enjoy our work. We enjoy and take great pride and satisfaction in helping change our customers career path to where they have real outcomes and positions along with the opportunity to earn more for the majority of grads. My review stems from a handful of former "sales" employees that obviously have banded together in hopes of bringing this down. I would ask anyone reading this to consider the following: 1) first off they loved their co-workers -really? In your attempt for anarchy towards one person you disregard we have families to support 2) They all say they worked here for at least a year. If it were so bad wouldn't you think that would be noticed way sooner than a year?? 3) the company has been around 8 years and during this time if the owner was so bad why is this the first we hear of it? 4) from my standpoint this group didn't get what they wanted and only care about themselves and vendetta against 1 person - totally disregarding the work we do lifting people up into new well paying jobs and the remaining people here that they said they enjoyed. Hypocrites? 5) strange these few all parrot the same talking points -like they were all in it together and just realized one day they had this hatred - here's the fact that I know - they never were managed by the owner, the owner never attended company meetings as he had managers in place to do so and when some of these people left he only asked how he could support us and what we needed in closing it's a great place to work if you enjoy helping people achieve their career goals and what they might have been meant to do in life. Pay is ok, work is online and remote and there's great people to work with

Cons

wish for a few less hours and really more involvement/interface with owner lastly, remote - while it's a fact of life you need to find ways to constantly keep involved with others
