Pros

They were willing to train me and give me an opportunity to shift careers within the company which I was super grateful for. The team was incredibly supportive and there was a strong feeling of comradery and support within the team.

Cons

There is virtually no formal training and the structure of how things were done seemed to be ever changing (which is to be expected of a growing company that was a start up not too long ago). The biggest thing is there is no formal structure for performance reviews tied to any kind of pay raise structure. Whatever you are offered to start with is what you will get paid moving forward unless maybe you can negotiate some sort of pay raise structure before you are hired.

Pros

- Individual contributor employees and a number of leaders are fantastic people and operators - Many of the offerings are very cool and unique - All of the companies that have been acquired by ELB brought much needed diversity and culture to ELB

Cons

- PE-backed organization primarily focused on company roll-ups (if you know you know) - Day-to-day ops are overlooked by top level leadership until there is a fire to put out - Very reactive approach to problems as opposed to proactive - Lack of communication between departments - Lack of documented processes - Low pay compared to market standards - Lack of diversity in leadership team - Cheap when it comes to employee wellbeing and resources
