Pros

The company is restarting its business with a fresh and experience management focusing on bringing a healthy and solid structure. The next years look promising for both the contract manufacturing business as well as iBio's proprietary product development, all keeping us very busy. Benefits are also really good and competitive.

Cons

Keep adding experienced staff to the core departments to ensure proper execution, focusing on training

Pros

The most talented, hardworking, qualified, caring, sincere group (especially the scientists) with TREMENDOUS Potential. They are determined to benefit humanity and with their skills and abilities absolutely can and will, given the opportunity. The innovative approach to biopharmaceutical manufacturing using a plant-based model could help a lot of people and transform the industry. The company also has great benefit options such as healthcare and stock.

Cons

The compensation is not great and there is an ever-increasing workload, a lot of which is paperwork. The bottlenecks within the company are well known and not addressed: Not enough personnel, lab equipment and space. Some unfortunate precedents have been set in place such as if you resign, you are escorted out of the building and are not allowed to finish the remainder of your term (de-incentivises giving considerate notice). There appears to be a culture that de-incentivises honesty and honest reporting of data if it is not a positive result. Senior management appears to be mismanaging the company and spending on non-essentials such as making the place look good rather than investing in productivity (personnel, equipment, and research). Recommendation of this company is contingent upon bottlenecks being addressed, increased transparency from the top and overall improvement in the quality of life of its employees; perhaps the President of the facility is not the right leader for this company.

Pros

A lot of people who care

Cons

Not enough people in management actually care. Directionless and depressing, with a eggshell like work culture. Bryan site might end up going under too because current staff can’t get through a GMP process. And hasn’t for the past 3 odd years.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience at iBio. We agree the employees at iBio really care about each other and about the work they do, which we believe is a big component of our success. In August, we announced the first successful manufacturing run of IBio-202, a testament to the collaborative efforts between the operations and the project management teams. As a growing organization, our management and human resources teams continually addresses feedback we receive from our employees, including staffing needs and adjust where necessary. Recently we expanded our EH&S team. Thank you again for your feedback.
