Poor Management - Lack of proper management skills and overall very unprofessional. You almost can't blame the managers for only looking out for themselves as execs create a toxic environment where yelling and threats are commonplace.
Lack of teamwork - Lots of wasted time spent stroking exec/"leadership" egos and finger pointing.
Lack Career Development - As others have mentioned, they will make countless false promises. No outline for career growth or potential opportunities.
EXAMPLE: illumin promised their employees a significant bonus to be paid out at the end of the year only to lay off the team members that met their goals before the expected pay out. This occurred in Jan 2024 and again Jan 2025.
Product Lacks Integrity- As others have confirmed, account executives lie to customers in order to get them to attend events and buy into the product. They list high profile companies as their customers, when it is a complete untruth. Weak sales strategy and market approach.
They are struggling in the market because customers don't renew once they realize there is no benefit to using this platform.
illumin has shown they don't have intention of learning and growing, they have a self interest to line their pockets and lay off their employees.
If they say "we're working on it", don't believe it till you see it.
Seriously, don't waste your time and overall well being. No one deserves to have to work here except the people that run the company.
